Mumbai: Preity had lodged a police complaint on 12th of June saying she was molested by her ex-boyfriend and industrialist Ness Wadia (44) at Wankhede stadium on May 30. When an IPL match was being played between Chennai Super Kings and Kings XI Punjab.

The 39 year old actor, who flew to U.S soon after filing an FIR against wadia on June 12 offered apologies, refused to speak to the media who were waiting for her arrival at Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport went straight to her car after landing in Mumbai on Sunday afternoon,
Wadia stated the allegation as "false and senseless''.
