Box Office, Flop Films of the year 2014

Below are the list of 5 films that did nothing, proved to be dead at the Box Office, this year started with a flop ‘Mr. Joe B Carvalho’ starring Arshad Warsi. Following other movies like Gulaab Gang starring Juhi Chawla and Madhuri Dixit.


5. O Teri





Produced by Salman Khan’s brother-in-law, Atul Agnihotri, the movie was promoted with the help of the superstar khan, Salman also appeared in the title song of the movie. The movie starred Pulkit Samrat who shot to fame by Fykrey. Inspite of all these positive factors, the movie was shockingly dead on the box office. By collecting a poor sum of Rs. 2.50 crore.

4. Youngistaan




Jacky Bhagnani who shot to fame by the movie F.A.L.T.U, This movie looked to be most promising this year, It also had a heart-throbbing   song ''Suno na sangemarmar" sung by Arijith Singh.who is creating wonders with his songs these day's. But the movie wasn’t received well and proved to be a flop.
3. Dishkiyaoon




It was released along side two other movies, Youngistaan and O Teri, and all went on to be flops at the Box Office. Shilpa Shetty-Raj Kundra Produced the movie, starring Harman Baweja and Aditya Pancholi. It's said the budget of the movie was around Rs. 10 crores, it ended up collecting just a sum of Rs. 4 crore.
2. Gulaab Gang




Starring Juhi Chawla and Madhuri Dixit. This movie was a come-back for the two beauties, It was promoted as a women-oriented film, and was released on Women’s Day. Produced by high budget of Rs. 25 crore, the movie suffered huge losses and was declared flop by the producers.
1. Mr. Joe B Carvalho


Starring Soha Ali Khan, this movie was the first movie to be declared flop of the year. Also starred Arshad Warsi our beloved "circuit" and Jaaved Jaaferi in pivotal roles. After playing a lawyer in the movie Jolly LLB, Arshad played a detective in this movie. The movie made a total of Rs. 3 crore and was declared as first flop of the year.
