Andhra Pradesh State government to open 3 cancer hospitals.
State government of Andhra Pradesh to open three cancer hospitals. in Kurnool, Nellore and Vijayawada.
Andhra Pradesh Health Minister Kamineni Srinivas said the 3 cancer hospitals would open in following cities Kurnool, Nellore, and Vijayawada, Addressing a media conference, Srinivas said that all the government hospitals will get modern facilities with funds provided by the Central Government.
Srinivas also added that the health sector was adversely affected in the state due to bifurcation of Andhra Pradesh as all the super speciality hospitals, both government and as well the private were established in Hyderabad for last 3 decades.
The minister said that the state government is committed to provide quality health care to the people, It also proposed to set up super speciality hospitals in all 13 districts around the state with latest medical equipment and paramedical staff.
Medical services at the "Visakha Institute of Medical Sciences" will start here very soon.
