4-storey building in north Delhi collapsed, 1 killed

Remains of 4-stored building which collapsed in Inderlok (DELHI) on saturday morning at around 9am.

NEW DELHI: A 4-storey building in Inderlok area in North Delhi collapsed on saturday morning, 1 woman who was rescued from the spot was declared dead on arrival at the hospital. Around 10 people have been rescued from the building and believed that still some of them are trapped inside


"The building was aroud 50 years old. Search and Rescue operations are on. more people may be trapped in the building but the number cannot be estimated as of now, commissioner of police Madhur Verma said.
This incident happened in a congested locality and said the incident have been caused by the construction work going in the adjacent building, a rescue official said.
four fire tenders were rushed to the spot for the rescue operations according to fire officials, they got a call around 9am in the morning saying a building is collapsing at Tulsi Nagar in Inderlok .
