Ness Wadia writes to police saying Preity Zinta charges false case against him

MUMBAI: Ness Wadia is an Indian businessman belonging to the Wadia family, he is currently the Managing Director of the Bombay Burmah Trading Corporation, He has been accused of threatening and abusing his former actress girlfriend Preity Zinta, on Wednesday had submitted a letter to the police in Marine Drive station giving the names of nine witnesses, Wadia stated Preity Zinta's statement as false.
It showed: "We are hereby providing a list of persons who were present at the Kings XI v/s Chennai Super Kings match at Wankhede stadium on May 30, 2014. We believe these persons who were present would be able to provide independent and truthful facts about the events that took place at the stadium on that evening with regard to the false complaint filed by Priety Zinta against me."
This is for the first time Wadia writes a letter to the police about the case. Earlier, he had issued press statement last month saying the case was false.
Preity Zinta had lodged an FIR on June 12 against Wadia saying he threatened her during IPL match on May 30 at Wankhede stadium. The cops have recorded statements of Preity Zinta last week and now preparing Wadia's statement in the case
